Krishna Hari Dulal, has been deeply connected to farming since childhood. Due to unforeseen circumstances, he had to leave his village at the age of 9, but his passion for agriculture remained. Krishna pursued a bachelor’s degree in Development Studies. Driven by a passion for organic farming, Krishna is dedicated to establishing a model farm, resource center, and demonstration site in his community. Through Ashabhumi Nepal, his vision is to train the youth, empower farmers, and bridge the gap between local farmers and markets, with the ultimate goal of enhancing the living standards of rural communities. Krishna believes in living a simple, meaningful life, devoted to serving those in need. His journey is motivated by a strong desire to make a positive impact on grassroots rural communities, with sustainable agriculture as the foundation for a brighter future.

Bal Krishna Dahal

Balkrishna Dahal is a dedicated agricultural expert with a strong focus on permaculture and sustainable farming. As a founder of Mritika Agro Services Pvt. Ltd., he has spearheaded multiple projects that emphasize eco-friendly farming practices. Balkrishna is passionate about empowering youth through agriculture, leveraging his extensive experience and training, including advanced permaculture design courses from HASERA Permaculture Farm and Oregon State University. His work is a testament to his commitment to transforming agricultural practices in Nepal.

Sunil Neupane

Farm Owner/manager at Mudhuban organic farm

Sunil Neupane, born in the mid-mountain region of Nepal, pursued his education in international management and finance, earning a master's degree in 2022 at Tribhuvan University of Nepal. Despite his success in the finance sector, Sunil felt a deep connection to his roots and the natural environment of his birthplace. This led him to make a significant career shift, embracing permaculture—a sustainable and holistic approach to agriculture. Returning to the mid-mountains of Nepal, Sunil now dedicates his efforts to promoting sustainable farming practices, aiming to improve local livelihoods and foster environmental stewardship in his community.
